A strong message to create a more peaceful world: Animal Lovers Don't Eat Animals!.
Love animals and at the same time be responsible for their painful life?
Many, actually peaceful and animal-loving people see no contradiction in this. How does that fit together? This phenomenon can be explained with the belief system of Karnismus. It seems so natural, necessary and normal to eat animals that it is difficult to recognize one's own contradicting behavior, to reflect on it and to replace it with behavior which corresponds much more to one's own moral feelings. Dr. Melanie Joy explains in this video what it is all about. PS: The video is also great for your omni friends :)
