Sloughterhouse process
Every day, over 82,000 pigs in Germany alone are “stunned” with CO₂ before slaughter – a method that causes panic, pain, and unimaginable suffering. Activists from ARIWA documented this process in a slaughterhouse in Lohne, exposing the brutal reality.
Their courageous efforts have consequences: The slaughterhouse operator has filed charges against them.
To help cover legal costs in solidarity and raise further awareness of this issue, we collaborated with the activists and designer Kerstin Brüller to create a solidarity design.
